While Kristi was in Albertville back in 1992, she met and fell in love with Bret Hedican, a professional hockey player who played for Team U.S.A. Yamaguchi told The Washington Post's Robert Samuels. Its been 25 years since Kristi Yamaguchi took home the gold medal for ladies singles figure skating at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France.
